The core Mira Designer software provides highly productive carpet-specific drawing tools, color handling, automated design creation wizards for fast and efficient carpet and rug design. Combined with integrated interactive realistic simulation of the carpet, and production files and reports makes it a complete CAD/CAM system for carpets and rugs.  All functionality is integrated in the one application for easy and efficient use. Mira is provided as "all-inclusive" systems with all functionality at one price, or as "a la carte" systems where you can choose and buy only the functionality you need.

Background

Wilcom International Pty Ltd., was incorporated in 1980 and in the same year released the world's first computerised embroidery design system. Tecos NV was founded in 1983 and in that year the first products, a Jacquard card reader and a program to punch Jacquard cards were released to market. In 1985, the CAD program called CATS (Computer Aided Textile Program) was released. 

Wilcom-Tecos was formed in 1999 and our continuous product development is built on over 20 years of CAD/CAM, Jacquard and Carpet/Rug industry experience, co-operation with major machinery manufacturers, and consulting with our customers. We listen to the industry.
